I understand that I will need to remove all rings and jewellery from both hands before my surgery, as this ensures a safe procedure. I understand that if I develop any cuts, scrapes, or broken skin before my surgery, I must inform Sydney Shoulder Unit as soon as possible, as this may mean my surgery needs to be postponed to reduce the risk of infection.
